Callendar House is a striking 14th century mansion set within the grounds of Callendar Park in Falkirk. Old School Fabrications were commissioned to design and make a bespoke chandelier for the newly renovated tea room located within the house.
The chandelier’s organic form drew inspiration from the beautiful gardens which surround the house. The design and use of materials complement the classical style of the room as well as the contemporary furniture now found in the refurbished space.
The 2 meter wide Chandelier featured 36 uniquely sculpted and etched acrylic leaves, each illuminated by a powerful LED bulb concealed within a walnut housing. The chandelier also featured 6 hanging glass pendant lamps. All circuitry was neatly contained within the polished brass structure.
