Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art Two – Play Space

For the Modern Two play space installation we designed and built six structures modelled after giant children’s building blocks. A giant meccano set of modular powder-coated metal and wood-en components come together to create architectural forms creating a playful environment for families to build, create and play together. Three of the structures featured interactive wall panels including: a giant marble run; a push pin wall and a foam building block wall. The installation act-ed as a play space as well as an outdoor venue for workshops and children’s events.
