The Bowhouse makers market commissioned our team to create distinctive signage and objects for their listed barn – a space hosting regular food and drink markets for local producers. Set in the grounds of the Balcaskie estate, a few miles north of St Monans in Fife, the Bowhouse makers market aims to replace a missing link in the food chain between farmer and consumer.
We painted a 10m high typographic logo onto the interior and exterior of the building, complemented by a laser-cut, corten steel door handle and spoon weathervane. A series of laser-etched larch wayfinding signs, and internal and external light boxes create an authentic, high quality environment for the market which offers opportunities to see, discuss, taste and buy food and drink made in Fife and beyond.
