Hendricks Gin approached OSF to create a unique visitor experience for their guests at the newly opened gin palace. Collaborating closely with their team, we crafted a playful, Victorian-surrealist-inspired bottling contraption that serves as both a whimsical storytelling device and an interactive installation.
Guests engage ‘The Contraption’ by inserting ingredients, pumping levers, and turning cogs, each action driving the machine forward in a delightful sequence. As they interact, they are rewarded with billowing clouds of steam, the sounds of bubbling potions and ringing bells, and, ultimately, a limited-edition bottle of Hendricks Gin.
The result is an unforgettable, multisensory journey that brings the brand’s whimsical spirit to life in a truly memorable way
