As part of the of the V&A Dundee’s exhibition programme we were approached by the talented team at iheartblob to build a very exciting multi player interactive installation. The collaborative video game, Gimbal City, is designed to empower communities to shape and own their urban stories by collaborating with other players to become architects of imagined cities.
The brightly coloured installation included large digital displays, LED lighting and a variety of tactile interactive components. The build involved a range of materials including painted plywood, MDF and bespoke 3D printed control parts.
