The Wyllieum is a purpose-built gallery in Greenock, located within the new waterfront development designed by Richard Murphy Architects. The gallery celebrates the life, work, and legacy of self-taught artist and 'social sculptor' George Wyllie (1921–2012).
In collaboration with exhibition designer Andy McGregor, we took responsibility for the construction design, fabrication, delivery, and installation of the exhibition space. Our involvement included the integration of several interactive AV elements and bespoke solutions for displaying a range of sculptural pieces.
Visitors can now embark on a captivating journey through Wyllie's imaginative creations in the first institution dedicated to the pioneering artist’s legacy.
